Spotlight on this 1957 Lincoln Premiere

The vehicle is listed as a fully restored 1957 Lincoln two-door coupe. Source details show a purple exterior and black interior on a gasoline-powered automatic. Producers can place it in shots that call for a two-door body style from the late 1950s without needing further modification.

This listing also notes the car under tags for vintage car, luxury car, classic car, and antique car. The combination of a Lincoln nameplate and coupe body gives it a distinct presence compared to more common sedans of the same decade. Location managers working in lake worth, Florida, can factor the vehicle into local shoots that stay within the South Florida region.

Cars and Casting and the Florida Picture Car Market

Cars and Casting connects Florida productions with vehicles listed on USA Movie Cars. The network works with state picture-car sites such as Florida Picture Cars so crews can search locally first before expanding their options. When a production bases itself in lake worth, Florida, or nearby areas, this partnership reduces travel time for picture vehicles.

USA Movie Cars maintains a nationwide inventory while feeding listings into regional sites. Florida picture car rental searches now surface the 1957 Lincoln Premiere alongside other 1950s vehicles already in the state. Location managers and prop masters gain a clearer view of what sits within driving distance of South Florida soundstages and practical locations.

History of the 1957 Lincoln Premiere

The Lincoln Premiere appeared in the mid-1950s as part of Lincoln’s effort to offer premium two-door and four-door models. The 1957 model year placed the car in an era when American manufacturers emphasized longer lines, chrome accents, and formal roof profiles on coupes. A two-door version such as this one aligned with buyer preferences for personal luxury cars that still carried the brand’s full-size presence.

By 1957 the Premiere sat above the Capri in the Lincoln lineup and competed with other domestic luxury coupes. The body style, automatic transmission, and overall proportions reflected the period’s move toward comfort-oriented grand touring vehicles. Productions seeking authentic late-1950s automotive texture can use the car to establish time period through exterior and interior details that match the decade’s design language.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

Crews filming in Florida can use the 1957 Lincoln Premiere for scenes set in the late 1950s. The two-door coupe works for character vehicles in period dramas, establishing shots outside mid-century buildings, or background texture in street scenes. Its purple finish and formal stance also suit commercials that reference classic American luxury.

Still photographers and music video directors can position the car as a static or slow-moving element. Event planners and branded content teams have placed similar vehicles at product launches or hospitality functions that want 1950s visual cues. The car’s restored condition supports repeated use across multiple production days without requiring additional preparation.
