1972 Ford Bronco Rental Added in Oregon

Cars and Casting has added this 1972 Ford Bronco to its network through USA Movie Cars. The vehicle sits in Washougal, Oregon, giving crews working in the Pacific Northwest a ready option for period or rugged scenes without long travel. Oregon picture car rental options like this one help productions stay on schedule when they need authentic 1970s trucks that can handle both road and off-road work.

Spotlight on this 1972 Ford Bronco

The listing shows a silver two-door Bronco with a black interior. It runs on a 351W V8 with electronic fuel injection and an automatic transmission, along with power steering, power brakes, power windows, and vintage air conditioning. Dual gas tanks support longer days on set, while a 5.5-inch lift and 2-inch body lift place the truck on 37-inch off-road tires mounted to 17-inch beadlock wheels. A front winch and rear spare with ice chest add practical utility for remote shoots.

Producers can request the full hard top and doors or switch to a soft bikini top with half doors depending on the look needed. The truck carries multiple show wins as a resto-mod classic, which gives it a finished appearance that still reads as period-correct for 1970s settings. Its custom paint and lifted stance provide visual texture that stands out in establishing shots or background action.

Cars and Casting and the Oregon Picture Car Market

Cars and Casting connects productions with vehicles listed on USA Movie Cars, including this Bronco in Washougal, Oregon. The network helps location managers and picture car coordinators find local assets quickly rather than arranging cross-country transport. USA Movie Cars works with state picture-car sites such as Oregon Picture Cars to make searches for Oregon film car and Oregon movie car options more direct for crews filming in the region.

This approach benefits independent filmmakers and commercial teams who need reliable local support. When a production bases itself in Oregon, having a restored 1972 Bronco already in Washougal reduces coordination time and keeps the focus on creative decisions instead of logistics.

History of the 1972 Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco entered its second generation in 1972 as a compact four-wheel-drive truck built for both work and recreation. That year the model carried forward the boxy styling and removable top options that had defined the line since the late 1960s. Many examples from this era featured V8 power and were popular with owners who wanted capability on trails or back roads while still driving on pavement.

The 1970s marked a period when Broncos appeared in both everyday use and outdoor advertising, giving them a recognizable silhouette in visual media. The two-door body style and removable top configurations made the truck adaptable for different climates and shooting conditions, traits that continue to appeal to productions looking for authentic vehicles from that decade.

Oregon Picture Car Rental Uses

This Bronco suits scenes set in the 1970s, whether as a character vehicle for a lead or as background texture in rural or suburban shots. Its lifted stance and aggressive tires allow it to appear in off-road sequences or establishing shots that show terrain. Crews filming commercials or music videos can use the changeable top and door options to match different moods without switching vehicles.

Still photographers and branded content teams often need a distinctive truck that photographs well from multiple angles. The silver exterior and black interior provide contrast against green Oregon landscapes or urban settings. Event planners can also place the Bronco as a static display piece when a classic four-wheel-drive truck fits the theme.
